Going to a Show
I love the buzz of the preshow. Everyone is out to hopefully have a good time and looking forward to an excellent show.
West End London
Snow in Copley Square
I had gone to Boston in Jan '14 to see the John Singer Sargent exhibit at the MFA. I walked back to my hotel near Copley Square and was presented with this late afternoon site.
I stumbled upon this scene in London quite by accident. I turned down a wrong alley and found this delightful burst of color. I quickly snapped some photos and kept moving through.
The Lions of Trafalgar
Trafalgar Square looking toward Parliament and Big Ben. People were crawling all over the huge lions for photo ops. It was fun to watch.
Crossing the Seine
Notre Dame Approach
Paris' modern art museum. I love the bold primary colors on the outside of the building
The Nag's Head
Covent Garden Station
China Town West End
I spent a morning in West End London and stumbled upon this scene. I loved the juxtaposition of East meets West.
Approaching St Pauls
Sunset in Florence
Across the Tiber
Bruno's Piazza Rome
Wash Day in Siena
Siena Afternoon Stroll
This is a painting of Siena Italy, which I was lucky enough to visit about 18 months ago. We were leaving the town and I turned around and snapped a pic of a couple emerging from this tunnelway.
This is Siena Italy. An old Tuscan town that is very much still alive. The drying laundry caught my attention in these very old buildings.
The Pantheon Piazza is a great mix of ancient and modern culture which truly is a microcosm of the Eternal City.
